Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction and who we are

These Terms & Conditions apply to all tours, tastings and experiences booked through toolbeer.understory.io, run for To Øl on our booking platform Understory.

Seller: To Øl City, Ringstedvej 13, 4520 Svinninge, CVR 33882254. Experiences take place at our head brewery in Svinninge, unless the experience page says otherwise.

By completing a booking, you accept these terms. For questions about a specific booking, contact events@toolbeer.dk.

2. Booking, delivery, prices and gift cards

Ticket delivery. Your ticket and order confirmation go to the email address you give at checkout. Not arrived? Check spam/promotions first, then contact events@toolbeer.dk. Once received, please check the ticket matches your order and flag any mismatch straight away. Responsibility for the ticket passes to you once it's delivered.

Prices and VAT. All prices are in DKK and include VAT, except experiences exempt under the Danish VAT Act.

Gift cards. Fixed-amount, can't be combined with each other or with discount codes, and must be used individually.

Price or listing errors. We may cancel an order affected by a significant or obvious price or typographical error on our website, social media, newsletters or other communications.

3. Cancellation, rescheduling and no-shows

We understand that plans can change, and we want to be as flexible as possible. If you need to cancel your booking, please do so in good time.

If you cancel:

1. 3 days or more before the experience: contact us and you'll get a full refund.
2. Less than 3 days before the experience: unfortunately, we can't issue a refund.
3. On the day (e.g. sudden illness): contact the tour & event guide on your booking confirmation. You're welcome to pass your ticket to someone else instead.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Weather. If weather makes the tour unsafe, we'll contact you to agree a new date.

If we cancel. For illness, road conditions or similar, we'll contact you by phone/SMS and email. If we cancel for low sign-up or a planning error, we'll do so in time before the start date, and you'll get either an alternative date or a full refund.

4. Age policy, conduct and arriving for your tour

You must be 18 or older to take part in the beer tasting.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your start time, with your ticket or booking confirmation ready to show.

We ask all guests to drink responsibly. If you've been drinking, please arrange your own transport home rather than driving. We may refuse participation to a visibly intoxicated or disruptive guest without a refund.

Let us know about allergies, dietary requirements or mobility needs in advance so we can plan your visit safely. The venue is a working production facility with uneven floors and machinery.

5. Liability, payment security and complaints

Liability. Our liability is limited to direct losses caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses. All on-site staff are trained in CPR and First Aid. You're responsible for telling us about allergies or health conditions relevant to your safe participation; we're not liable for reactions to undisclosed allergens.

Payment security. Payment is processed by Understory and its payment provider over an encrypted (SSL/TLS) connection. We don't store your full card details ourselves.

Complaints. For any issue with your booking or experience, contact us first at events@toolbeer.dk.
